A breakdown of votes by individual location will be forthcoming.

Overall voter turnout for this election was approximately 70 percent.

As in all such elections, a simple majority of voting employees determines the outcome. Accordingly, the majority of voting AP staff voting in this election have chosen not to be represented by UPTE. Approximately, 12,000 campus and hospital administrative professionals were eligible to participate in the election.

UC does not support nor discourage unionization. UC supports employees' rights to determine for themselves whether or not they wish to be represented by a union.
