UC medal winners at 2000 Summer Olympics (Sydney, Australia)
The University of California has a proud history of sending participants to the Olympic Games. And quite often, athletes with UC connections have performed well in these international competitions - for example, winning nearly three dozen medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. In fact, if UC were a country, its 2000 medal total would have been exceeded by only six other nations.
