Michael S. Stohl
Professor of Communication
Political communication
Dr. Stohl's research focuses on organizational and political communication with special reference to terrorism, human rights and global relations. He has been a guest commentator on National Public Radio, NBC, and CBS and has been interviewed for stories on terrorism and human rights by numerous American, European and Australian newspapers and magazines. Currently he is working on two projects related to terrorism, a study of networks of terrorism and a project on the interaction between the media and terrorism.

Bruce Bimber

His research examines the relationship between evolving information technology and changes in human behavior, especially in the domains of political organization, collective action, social capital, and political deliberation. His recent books are Information and American Democracy: Technology in the Evolution of Political Power (Cambridge University Press, 2003) and Campaigning Online: The Internet in U.S. Elections (Oxford University Press, 2003, with Richard Davis).
