UC experts on West Nile Virus

The University of California has one of the largest West Nile virus research and testing programs in the United States.

UC Davis analyses were the basis for the July 2004 announcement by the state health department that, for the first time, West Nile virus has been found in dead birds in Northern California, spanning much of the state's Central Valley.
