POLICY ON THE FACULTY REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS

The members of the faculty of the University of California who are Chairman of the Academic Assembly and Academic Council and the Vice Chairman of the Academic Assembly and Academic Council shall be invited to attend all meetings of the Board and of its committees and to be seated at the meeting table with full participation in discussion and debate. In addition, effective immediately, the Faculty Representatives will serve as advisory members of standing and/or special committees of The Regents. This membership shall not count toward the maximum number of standing committee members as set forth in Bylaw 10.1(c) nor toward the maximum number of special committee members as set forth in Bylaw 10.3.
