The University Committee on Academic Freedom (UCAF) studies conditions within and outside the University that may impact the academic freedom of the University, its faculty, or its students. Commonly discussed are procedures relating to faculty employment - including discipline, student reviews and course content; cases involving the freedom or reputation of individual faculty members; and current political and social trends.
