To ensure that the Senate leadership is kept informed of, and has timely input on policy issues, the systemwide Senate identifies and monitors pending state and federal legislation of potential impact to faculty, students and the University’s teaching, research and service missions, and provides the faculty perspective in the development of UC’s legislative policy positions.
