Biography
Mr. Miller came to UCLA in 1994 with twenty years in the private sector at companies such as Pacific Telephone and Bankers Trust in positions that coupled his technical expertise with his customer relationship management skills. He was Client Services Manager at UCLA Communications Technology Services, a department in which he held increasingly responsible positions for thirteen years. In 2003, Dave served as president of UCLA Staff Assembly. In addition, he was elected by acclamation as Chair-Elect of the Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA), serving as chair 2004-05. Dave was presented with the first ever Excellence in Service to the UCLA Campus Community Award by Chancellor Albert Carnesale and AdministrativeVice Chancellor Sam Morabito at the 2005 UCLA Staff Honors Reception.
