Who's enriching our communities through cultural, arts and educational outreach?
UC is enriching our culture through very robust education and outreach programs that teach art, dance, literacy, drama, music, math, humanities and digital arts throughout our California communities. Over 24,000 public school children in 267 schools have been provided with arts education through UC's ArtsBridge program. Other outreach programs include Berkeley Young Musicians Program, Irvine ArtsReach, and Santa Barbara Arts Education Outreach among many others. UC also houses impressive galleries, theater venues, concert halls, observatories, sports facilities and museum collections for exploration and engagement for California's communities. Art and creativity are very much thriving in California and UC is helping our young people to continue this tradition—the quality of UC-trained creative talent graces every corner of the entertainment industry today.
