Freshman Opportunities

• Admissions Information
  Becoming eligible is the first step to UC admission. UC guarantees a place at one of its campuses to all eligible California residents who apply on time. Learn about our three eligibility paths and how campuses select students for admission to UC.
• Selecting the Right Campus
  Any UC campus you choose will offer a strong academic foundation and a wide range of learning opportunities. But that doesn’t mean every campus will be right for you. Look at each campus to find the one that seems to fit you best.
• Apply to UC
  Not every student can be admitted to his or her first-choice campus. Applying to more than one campus can significantly increase your chances of being admitted to a UC campus. To make it easy for you to apply to more than one campus, we have a single application. Application filing periods are listed on our website.
• Paying for UC
  The University of California offers financing options for students at all income levels, and nearly two-thirds of our undergraduates receive some form of financial aid. This website provides information on the cost of attending the University, the types of financial aid available – including grants and scholarships – and the process for applying for aid.
