“Congratulations to Xavier Becerra on his election as California's 41st Governor. Governor-elect Becerra has proven experience serving Californians, and the University of California looks forward to collaborating with him and the Legislature on our shared priorities. From enrollment and affordability to student housing and healthcare, our work together makes a difference for Californians in every corner of the state. I also want to extend my congratulations to Lieutenant Governor-elect Fiona Ma and State Superintendent of Public Instruction-elect Richard Barrera, who will join Governor Becerra as members of the UC Board of Regents.”
