University of California alumni looking for their next opportunity will have two chances this August to connect with employers from across California.
The 2026 HireUC Alumni Career Summits, hosted in Irvine and South San Francisco this year, will bring together more than 75 employers with UC alumni from all 10 UC campuses. The free events are designed to help attendees explore new careers, grow their professional networks and meet employers actively recruiting UC talent.

Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
Hosted by the UC Alumni Career Network in partnership with HireTalent, this statewide initiative reflects the University of California’s commitment to supporting alumni career success, strengthening regional talent pipelines, and fostering connections between employers and one of the nation's most highly educated alumni populations. Supported by all 10 UC campuses, the event welcomes alumni from diverse academic disciplines, industries and career stages.
“The HireUC Alumni Career Summit creates opportunities for UC graduates and employers to connect in meaningful ways while supporting workforce development across California,” said Christina Cadang Chan, convener of Systemwide Alumni Career Engagement.
More than 75 employers are expected across the two events, representing technology, health care, government, finance, engineering, education, environmental consulting, biotechnology and nonprofit organizations in two of California’s most dynamic economic hubs.
