Congress needs to protect immigrants working hard for a better life by passing the Dream and Promise Act.

Dreamers and recipients of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) protections, including the thousands who currently attend or have graduated from the University of California, are integral parts of our nation’s fabric. They are educated in our schools, work side-by-side with us and contribute to our economy. They give back to our communities and to the country that invested in them – now we need to give them the certainty of the future they continue to work toward and deserve.

The Dream and Promise Act of 2019 will allow certain U.S.-raised immigrant youth and individuals to earn lawful permanent residence and eventually American citizenship.
