UC and the Federated University Police Officers Association collaborate on new multiyear contract for UC police officers
The University of California is pleased to announce that the Federated University Police Officers Association (FUPOA) membership has voted to ratify a new four-year contract for UC’s 260 police officers. The agreement includes annual across-the-board increases and incentives for higher education, multilingual skills utilization, physical fitness and other police functions. The new contract will be effective from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026.

UC and Teamsters collaborate on new multiyear contract for clerical and other administrative staff
University of California officials today (Oct. 3) announced a tentative agreement with the Teamsters Local 2010 union on a new four-year contract for the more than 11,000 clerical employees, library assistants and other administrative staff represented by the Teamsters. Once ratified by union members, the new contract will be effective from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026.

The University of California awarded two foster youth students the inaugural Regents Foster Youth Award. William Carter, a UC Berkeley Ph.D. student, and Mary Tran, a UCLA law student, were presented with their awards by UC President Michael V. Drake, M.D., and UC Regents Chair Richard Leib at a meeting of the UC Board of Regents at UC San Diego.
